Dissemination of ProBLeMS Project Results at the Symposium on Mental Health of Children and Youth

Members of the ProBLeMS project team participated in the symposium entitled “Mental Health of Children and Youth – The Importance of Mental Hygiene During Development and Education”, held on March 27, 2026, in Belgrade.
The symposium gathered healthcare professionals, educators, and researchers with the aim of discussing contemporary challenges related to mental health, preventive approaches, and the role of education in promoting mental well-being among children and young people.
Within the symposium programme, several members of the ProBLeMS project team disseminated the results and activities of the project through lectures dedicated to innovative educational approaches and metacognitive problem-based learning. Presentations were delivered by Prof. Dr. Dušan Bauković, Prof. Dr. Jelena Jović, Prof. Dr. Zoran Bukumirić, Dr. Borko Bajić, and Prof. Dr. Aleksandar Torac.
Special attention was given to the lecture on metacognitive and problem-based modules, as well as the importance of metacognition in students and the role of educational innovations in improving mental health awareness and professional competencies.
Participation in this symposium represented an additional opportunity for the dissemination of ProBLeMS project results and for strengthening cooperation among institutions involved in the modernization of medical education.
